Supports for working moms?
So, based on the general consensus that most two-income couples with children “must” work to “survive”, one could assume that there is are a large number of people in the US who would rather be at-home parents. So, what can we do to help people to make freer choices?
If there really are lots of women who would rather not be working full-time, then taxpayer-funded daycare doesn’t seem very supportive of their free choice. This would make it even harder for one-income families to compete with two-income families. So what could we do so that women don’t feel that they must work?
Ms. Friedan started quite a revolution by telling the world that a large number of housewives felt forced into it and would rather be at work. Shouldn’t feminists now fight for women who would rather be at home, along with fighting for working women?
Ember makes a great point – most gov’t policies only help a few women, such as single women rather than all poor women. So if a woman gets married, she loses her assistance! That seems crazy to me.
Sigy – doesn’t taxpayer funded daycare give a preference to non-parental care? Why should my taxes go to support only families who make that choice? Don’t polices that favor dual-income familes just make it harder for women to really choose?

Will this plan work? Or is it really bad, possibly deadly?
Ok. Please this answer this a yes or no question. Please, please ,please. This is a yes or no question. I don’t want your opinion. I want your answer. Yes or no.
This is my plan:
*Not eating Lunch. So I lose like 400 calories. But I eat like 600 calories on Breakfast and 600 calories on Dinner. SO that’s about 1200 calories. I don’t need to or want to eat lunch.
*Then I will play Dance Dance Revolution for 30 minutes about 3 times each week. And for this I basically jump the whole time. SO that’s about 30 minutes of straight SLOW jumping, but I never stop jumping.
I (maybe) WILL eat lunch on the weekends. It depends if my mom is home or if I’m hungry and I need energy.
I know in order to lose 1 pound each week, you have to lose at least 500 calories each day.
*I will exercise at least 1 hour of Dance Dance on Saturday and Sunday.
Will this plan work? That is the big yes- no question. Will this plan work?
My BASIC masterplan is too get rid off fat. I want to get rid of Stomach ,and thigh fat. I know this diet will eat my muscles. But I don’t care. I will reduce my fat from at least 20% to less than 10% but more than 5%. (You need at least 7% body fat to have your abs show).
I will get rid of LOTS of fat. And after, I will start building muscle on my legs, abs, biceps, etc. I want to start over healthy. I will stop This Crazy diet as soon as the fat is gone.
Oh and I will drink lots of Soy Milk for Calcium and other vitamins^^
